Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using StaffRide.lk ("the Platform"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms apply to all users, including transport service providers, corporate clients, and individual users.

2. Definitions

• "Platform" refers to StaffRide.lk website and related services
• "Provider" refers to transport service providers listing services on the Platform
• "User" refers to any person or entity accessing the Platform
• "Service" refers to transport services listed by Providers

3. Platform Services

3.1 For Service Providers

• You may list transport services after account approval
• You are responsible for the accuracy of service information
• You must maintain valid licenses and insurance
• You agree to respond to customer inquiries promptly
• StaffRide reserves the right to remove listings that violate our policies

3.2 For Service Seekers

• You may browse and search for transport services
• Bookings and payments are handled directly with Providers
• StaffRide is not a party to any transaction between users and providers
• You are responsible for verifying provider credentials before booking

4. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate and complete registration information
• You are responsible for maintaining account confidentiality
• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
• StaffRide may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms
• One person/entity may maintain only one provider account

5. Provider Responsibilities

As a transport service provider, you warrant that:

• All listed services are accurate and up-to-date
• Vehicles are properly maintained and insured
• Drivers hold valid licenses and necessary permits
• You comply with all applicable Sri Lankan transport laws
• You maintain appropriate safety standards
• You will honor bookings made through the Platform

6. Content and Listings

• You retain ownership of content you submit
• You grant StaffRide a license to display your content on the Platform
• You may not post false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• StaffRide may review and moderate listings
• Images must accurately represent the actual service/vehicle

7. Reviews and Feedback

• Users may leave reviews based on actual service experiences
• Reviews must be honest and not contain offensive content
• StaffRide reserves the right to remove inappropriate reviews
• Providers may not manipulate or falsify reviews

8. Limitation of Liability

StaffRide.lk acts solely as a platform connecting providers and service seekers. We are not responsible for:

• The quality or safety of transport services provided
• Disputes between providers and customers
• Accidents, delays, or cancellations
• Payment disputes between parties
• Any damages arising from use of the Platform

9. Intellectual Property

• The StaffRide name, logo, and platform are our intellectual property
• You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission
• User-submitted content remains the property of the user

10. Termination

StaffRide may terminate or suspend access to the Platform:

• For violation of these Terms of Service
• For fraudulent or illegal activities
• For extended account inactivity
• At our sole discretion with reasonable notice

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sri Lanka. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
